THE GRACE MUSEUM

THE GRACE MUSEUM houses three museums in the historic Hotel Grace an art museum featuring five gallery spaces, a historical museum and a state-of-the-art children’s museum. Built in 1909, the 55,000 square foot building is today the tenth largest general museum in Texas, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The first floor of The Grace Museum features an elegant restored marble ballroom, a glass loggia, a large enclosed brick courtyard, and a restored lobby, showcasing the building’s original architectural details and colors. Weddings and special events are frequently held in portions of the museum’s facilities.

The Grace Museum enriches and enhances the cultural life of Abilene and the region through its special exhibitions, permanent collection, classes and special events. In the heart of Abilene’s beautifully restored downtown, The Grace is a cultural hub for arts and education in West Texas.

The Center for Contemporary Arts is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, was founded in 1989 with the support of the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council to provide enriching and educational experiences for the region’s communities through the promotion and support of artists.

The Buffalo Gap Historic Village preserves and presents the history and heritage of the Texas frontier. The Buffalo Gap Historic Village is an award-winning living history museum which brings the West Texas Frontier alive with over a dozen original buildings and scores of historical artifacts. STG operates 365 days a year and present more than 370 shows annually, most taking place at The Paramount and The Moore. Stewardship of their theatres keeps them extremely busy and on their toes. The National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature collaborates with award-winning artists to produce exhibitions of their artwork that are distinctive, appealing to museum visitors of all ages, and of the highest quality. The City of Daphne

Daphne is located in Baldwin County, Alabama, on the eastern shoreline of Mobile Bay, just off I-10.
